Wilckens chalk paint is ideal for the creative design of your indoor wooden furniture. But the color can also be used for furniture in protected outdoor areas, as the gray color is partially light- and weather-resistant, as well as UV-stable. You can also give your furniture a trendy vintage look by lightly sanding the paint with sandpaper after it has dried. The water-based paint cares for and protects your wooden furniture and has a moisture-regulating effect.
The surface must be clean, dry, free of oil and grease and stable. Remove unstable and peeling coatings. Pre-treat the wooden surfaces with insulating primer. Critical and highly absorbent surfaces should be primed with deep primer. Stir the paint well before use. When processing several containers, ensure that the batches are the same. The base coat can be diluted with up to 5% water. After drying, apply an undiluted top coat. For a vintage look, apply two coats in contrasting colors. Then lightly sand the top layer with sandpaper and wipe it with a damp cloth so that the color underneath appears. A final coat of matt protective varnish is recommended for furniture.
