The ready-to-use, natural-coloured wood putty from Pufas is ideal for quickly repairing damaged wood surfaces. The synthetic resin putty is ideal for filling and smoothing cracks, holes and broken edges on wooden surfaces and can also be used indoors and, with a weather-resistant top coat, outdoors. In addition, Pufas Holzkitt has a high filling capacity and can be applied in one operation up to a layer thickness of 5 mm.
First of all, ensure that the substrate is load-bearing and free from separating agents. Weathered wood must be removed down to the intact wood layer. The tube must be kneaded well before use. The wood filler can then be pressed directly into the area to be repaired and smoothed with a spatula. The wood filler can be applied up to a layer thickness of 5 mm in one operation. For deeper holes, a further coat can be applied after the first coat has dried. The drying time is 6 - 12 hours depending on the layer thickness, absorbency of the substrate and ambient temperature. After complete drying, Pufas Wood Filler can be painted over with all water-thinnable paints and varnishes. For exterior use, apply a weather-resistant top coat after drying. Do not apply the filler below + 5 °C substrate temperature. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
